Welcome to the installation guide for the Slide curtain system. This document explains step-by-step how to install Slide using the app. Note: this guide only covers the app installation.
When opening the app, you'll see three options:
· Inloggen met een bestaand account (Log in with an existing account)
· Een nieuw account aanmaken (Create a new account)
· Offline gebruiken (Use offline)
Important: If you choose to work offline, you won't be able to connect your Slide to services like Google Home. In most cases, you can proceed without creating an account.
If you forgot your password, you can request a reset in this step.

After selecting one of the options in step 1, you'll land on the main menu where all connected Slides are shown. If you haven’t installed one yet, tap 'Installeer nieuwe Slide' (Install new Slide).

You now have two options:
· Slide is al verbonden met Wifi (Slide is already connected to WiFi) – only use this if you're sure the Slide is already set up on your WiFi
· Volledige installatie (Full installation) – recommended in most situations

Specify what type of curtain you’re using. If you're using a curtain rod (roede), you'll need the Roedebeugel (Rod Mount), available here:
https://www.robbshop.nl/slide-beugel-voor-roedesysteem
Also select the curtain layout – this is essential for correct calibration.

You’ll now enter the Slide "setup room" in the app. A video explains how to install Slide physically. If you’ve already mounted it, choose 'Installatie voltooid' (Installation completed).

The app now begins the WiFi setup.

Confirm the LED on the Slide is slowly pulsing. If not:
· Press and hold the lower button on the Slide for 10 seconds to reset.

Connect your phone to the Slide’s WiFi network (Slide_xxxxxxxxx).
Then return to the Slide app and tap 'Verbinden' (Connect).

You're now connected to the Slide. Enter your home WiFi credentials and tap 'Verbind Slide' (Connect Slide).
Make sure the password is correct — otherwise, the connection will fail.

A loading screen appears while Slide connects to your WiFi.

Check if the LED on the Slide has turned off. If it hasn’t:
· Press and hold the reset button on the bottom for 10 seconds
· Go back to Step 8 and reconnect to the Slide network

The app connects to the Slide server to check for updates. Tap 'Uitgebreid' (Advanced) to proceed.

Tap 'Starten' (Start) to let the app search for the Slide on the network.

Slide will now install updates. At the end, the screen should look like the example below.
Important: The app will instruct you to unplug the Slide. This is necessary for Slide to work correctly.

Begin calibrating the Slide.
Do you get a network error?
· Unplug the Slide from power for 1 minute
· Try again
· Still issues? Send a screenshot similar to step 14 to our support team via robbshop.nl

If the curtains have opened and closed completely, calibration is successful.
Tap 'Het is klaar, start het testen' (It’s done, start testing).
If it didn’t work:
· Retry
· Increase the motor strength if Slide can’t move the curtains fully
At any time you can tap 'Stop handmatig' (Stop manually) to stop the calibration.

The Slide now runs a test. If successful, tap 'Opslaan en doorgaan' (Save and continue).
If not, choose one of the other options depending on the situation.

Add your Slide to the main menu:
· Select a zone
· Name your Slide
· Tap 'Je bent klaar. Let’s Slide!' (You’re done. Let’s Slide!) or choose 'Nog een Slide installeren' (Install another Slide) if you have more units.
